Limbering up for a portrait show in June 2013




These three were painted on 10 inch by 14 inch, 140 pound cold press watercolor paper using a number 12 sable round brush.

Bell, I did a portrait of jazz bass player Charlie Hayden a number of years ago where I left at least 40% of the painting unpainted. That piece is my inspiration for my June portrait show. People sure do love the sketch you did of me doing what I like to do best! Thanks again.
