Scuffy #2


Last Friday, I set up my easel on the dock and got this view.

This is a nice piece. Having just produced a bevy of bad outdoor studies, I better able to appreciate the skill.

Hey On Painting...you're not the only one that can do bad outdoor studies. Why are they always such hard work!? Why can't the little bastards paint themselves!!! I'm pissed...time to knock down a few Jack Daniels.

I was thinking of you last Friday 'cause you said you were going to go back and try another one of this old tug.

I seem to have developed a thing for this tugboat. A local university has a rowing facility on the other side of the tug. I'm going to see if I can paint over there as well, By the way, the tugboat's name is not Scuffy but Louie.
