Another watercolor portrait on my watercolor table and in progress
Shaul, one of my talented art students at Sacramento City College - cool shades and top knot! I'm painting him on 140 cold press, 11 by 15 inches, and using left over palette paint from a previous painting. I'll post my "finish" soon.
Love it. What is that stuff you use as a resist? I don't know if they sell it here. I praised you on my blog the other day. Now I better get back and finish the work I illustrated the piece with -- a long way from the great David Lobenberg.
Barbara - I sometimes use conte crayon. It has wax in it so when you paint a wash on top, it will not be affected. Cool, uh? Otherwise, I hardly ever use any of the masking fluids. Thanks for the kind words on your blog. It looks like you grooved on my DVD. I may have another DVD coming up!
