Just playing

I posted a portrait of this lady about a month ago . . . kind of spiky looking, and I didn't like it . . .
so . . .  his is the same painting but with tweaks and embellishments . . . three weeks of playing . . .  Davey can be a dull boy if he don't play. Don't ask me what it all means as I haven't got a clue!
Watercolor on 140 lb. Arches cold press. 14 inches by 18 inches.

David,
Playing is good. Channeling William E Moore?

I like also the April 8 version and the April 26 version. Today's is more complex and thought provoking.

Hey David,
Thanks for an amazing semester- you open a new world for me; you are one of the kind. I'm already missing you!
this painting looks great but I do like the 2nd. version better- this one is a bit too busy for my eyes- but what do i know....btw- what happened to this student?!

William, Yep indeedy, I am channeling some William K. Moore. I like him and the Painter Of Blight - William Wray. As always, I appreciate your comments!

Avishay, You know nothing!!! :-) As always, I'm kidding! So glad you grooved on my class and you were an A-1 student! Yep, this one might be too busy, but I gotta put it away and evaluate it at a later date. Never-the-less, no play makes Davey a dull boy.
