Mindscape

Here is a "Mindscape" that I painted yesterday at The School of Light and Color in Fair Oaks, California where I teach a Tuesday watercolor class. Please click here to read all about this watercolor exercise. By the way, one of my followers, Meera, came up with the title "mindscape". Thank you, Meera!

This is stunning. Love the blue/rust contrast. Love the drips in the water, the touches of yellow, the light in the sky. I cannot believe this was just an "exercise"!

You asked what I see here in the other blog...I see big, huge glaciers that have cracked and shifted into each other. The cold and crisp waters of the Arctic...

That is a beautiful 'mindscape' indeed :) and thanks for the mention -I really appreciate it. I think I see huge cold icebergs and beautiful sunlight! One great imagination!

Thank you everyone. It is a nice surprise that you all like this so much. Hmmm...maybe I should play around more in this genre of watercolor.
