What a beautiful portrait gallery! . You're ready to make more. A constant the play of colors, it's amazing, very nice, I like. Me who asks questions to make skin tones, you opened my eyes. Thank you.
You are awesome at it, David. Had I the moola, I would love one. I don't see watercolor portraits too often and these are just phenomenal. The only other artist I can think of that does watercolor portraits too is Arti.
No yawn from yore here - these are magnificent. You have much color courage. And your skill at watercolor!! It is interesting what Autumnleaves says, because it is so true. There is so much possibility with watercolor - such a great medium, the flow and unpredictability of it. It is a shame that when people think of watercolors they only think of flowers.

You bet! Lovely portraits..very vibrant.
Lydie, its all about getting your values and edges right. Then you can have fun playing around with different color combinations.
Susan. Transparency is the key word here along with value manipulation and edges.
Thanks Autumn and Meera.
Thanks so much Studio at the Farm. Give my regards to your animals.
Dan, yep, watercolor painting is way more than flowers and if it is flowers, find a way to paint them with verve.
Thank you as always, Arti!
David,
Great color and application in the first. I like the composition in the third one(bold.
What the hell do you know William! :-) LOL!
