I enlarged this one so I could really see it - all those great textures in the road from splatters and blobs of pure colors, and the skyline and play of violets against greens and yellows are the work of someone who really knows their stuff!

I just discovered your website via a post on Rhonda's blog. I absolutely love your road series. I'm fascinated by roads and pathways that head over the horizon or round the corner. They give an impression of such amazing possibility. Who knows what might be around the bend?

Very nice! Love all the pattern in the road and that warm light in the background really pulls you in.

Beauty David, and the paintings preceding it. I am on holiday and have to make a point of going to site where I can access the net, so know that I love all of your work. Back as a constant admirer in two weeks.

Ciao,

Barbara

Found your blog today and am enjoying looking at the entries. Did you sandpaper the road in this painting? The texture is nice, and I figured you used drybrush or sandpaper.
