2nd Annual Tour De Cluck is coming!!!

My "2nd Annual Tour De Cluck Art Workshop" is coming May 7th. At the workshop, I inspire and aid artists to create killer chicken art in any medium. Participating artist who want to donate a piece to the tour's silent auction pavillion will help support the serving of wholesome, locally grown food in school cafeterias. This is all part of the city of Davis (just west of my home town of Sacramento) "Tour De Cluck", a one day event. Buy a tour ticket, get a map of the city's residential hen houses, and have a clucking good time! More to come as we get closer to the tour date.

What a hoot! I never heard of such a thing. It sounds like a really fun time! Killer chickens strutting their stuff...

Hi David,

wish I could be part of that. I wrote about you on my blog on Sunday and talked about your book. Sorry I've been so busy I didn't get here to tell you. Beautiful paintings.

Your fan in Toronto,

Barbara

Killer chickens? Isn't that stuff of nightmares or M. Knight Shyamalan??? These are awesome, David, and such a fabulous cause. I wish you much cluck...er...luck with this tour!

It is a gas and a half plus a hoot at the tour, Susan.

Barbara, Thank you for the plug on your blog! Enjoy the snow up there. As I came over the Sierras from my workshop in Reno a few weeks ago, I stuck my hand out to feel the very light snow flurry I was driving through. That is as close as I have ever gotten to exposing myself to falling snow!

Autumn, Yes, killer chickens is the stuff of nightmares. Maybe I should stay away from this Tour De Cluck business! Or am I being a wee bit dramatic with that thought?
