Writing On The Body Of A Queen

This painting is my interpretation of a new ballet titled "Writing on the body of a queen" ( recently choreographed by Jennifer Bradford, director of the Northern Calif. Dance Conservatory) that in turn was inspired by the late, "great" Marie Antoinette. It's a diptych on two stretched canvases measuring 12"X24" per canvas for an overall size of 24 1/2"X24". It's about 50% completed...a work in progress. More later.

Intriguing! I look forward to see how you resolve this painting. Why is there a division down the middle? Marie Antoinette was one of the more interesting characters from the history books.

I can't wait to see where you go with this!

Are there two painting to this painting? You have alot of energy going in this one...and you have Milind's shade of blue going for you too. Can't wait to see the completed masterpiece.

It's a diptych, Myrna. I have just added that to my description. Thanks for bringing that to my attention!

I can't wait either, Angela. I have a nebulous plan but no crystal clear vision as to what this diptych will end up looking like.

Barbara: If I have some of Milind's color in this, that can't hurt!
