"Finished not Finnish" still a work in progress

I posted the beginning of this painting two posts ago. Here it is with some changes and more to come. What do you think dear readers?

I really like the additions to this since April 10. I like the softening of some edges and the new space relationships created. Set it aside and think about it awhile.

I like all the new additions to the painting except for the drawing/portrait at the bottom left. Not sure it does anything for the total. The other elements work to add mystery, make me ask questions, look longer, so I think they all work very well. But this is just one person's opinion!

Hi David,
It's great, but what else in new! Your boundless creativity is fully on display here.
You, sir, are a true modern master.
Sincerely,
Gary.

Rhonda, You met my dynamo friend Mryna. I trust she showed a plethora of neat art techniques nd kept you very busy! I Agee with you about the lone face but remember there is more work to be done on this portrait . . . Hopefully it will all come together!

Thanks, Gary. I'm trying my damnedest to get a new portrait style going. It most likely is going to take awhile, but it sure is a lovely and invigorating challenge!

Now there's that mysterious face emerging in the lower left hand corner. Wasup David? Like it a lot.
I love watching you shift gears in a painting and decide to change, it's exciting.

Ciao,

Barbara

It is fabulous. The expression and colors are expert. It belongs in a museum.
