Playtime on a rainy day.

Boy, do we need this rain in too sunny California! More color has been added to the portrait I posted a few weeks ago.

Thank you my friend for weighing in on all of these. Artists need feedback from other artists that they admire. Fire in the belly comes from within. We all know that. But some external stoking helps as well.

I love this David. I love the intensity of colour and design, and how the model's expression is still the main focus. Fascinating.

Love the boldness of the strokes and color - show those oil and acrylic painters what watercolor can do! It ain't pale and "wishy-washy" watercolor!!

the additional strokes almost look like pastel david... they are all fascinating to look at ...like the complexity of this one.
