California Country

I painted this about two years ago in water color and en plein air (painted on location) in farm country outside of Sacramento, California. Painting en plein air is not my forte, but this one, I think, came out OK. These are animal feed bins.

  3. Wonderful job on this, David. I can tell exactly what they are. You captured the aluminum structures beautifully.

  5. Autumn, "loose...a simple word that can always be a challenge. I will soon be posting many more loose watercolors that I hope will put me further down the road to looseness and watercoloring virtuosity. We artists must always challenge ourselves.

  6. Thanks, Carol. Those structures were fun to paint and without getting trapped into too much of that corrugation.
