Watercolors from my mind
Three I painted a few days ago to limber up and to enjoy landscapes from my mind to palette and brush to paper. All are painted 140lb. cold press watercolor paper with a #20 round sable brush.
I like those, they're beautiful. There is a harmony of color and a balance of shapes that really do almost say "landscape" and yet are abstract. (Sigh) when I do that I get mud.Time to take more classes!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful mix of colors, values and shapes --I think you can call them 'mindscapes' :)
ReplyDeleteAlso, thanks much for the w-i p photos in the last two posts --I love seeing how the final painting shapes up! Really like them both.
Splashes of color!
ReplyDeleteThe first one could be on a tee shirt. Have fun with it!
ReplyDeleteI like these, especially the top one. You have a very creative mind :)
ReplyDeleteDianne, The harmony of color on these is because I kept my choice of colors limited. I think that also reduces the mud factor.
ReplyDeleteMeera, Good description for these; Mindscapes. How come I didn't think of that!?!
ReplyDeleteCarol, Semi abstract landscape T shirts! There time has come!
ReplyDeleteRhonda, Yes, I gravitate to the top one as well.
ReplyDeleteTrovo i tuoi lavori fantastici, pieni di libertà e di colore. Elvi
ReplyDeleteElvi, Grazie!
ReplyDeleteAll of these are great. Love them.
