Getting ready for this Sunday's Portrait Workshop

Every time I conduct a water color, acrylic, or whatever workshop, i paint what we will be painting workshop time. This female study will be painted by me and my workshop students this Sunday.

  7. I'm studying this piece at school as part of my gcse analysis task and think it's beautiful, I tried to interpret this piece but in acrylic paint but it's no where near as good as this, it's amazing David, I was wondering what inspired you and who your influences were?

  8. Anonymous, These are "Expressive" colors as opposed to "Natural" colors. As long as the expressive colors correspond to the original, natural value patterns on the face and are somewhat harmonious, they will work together quite well. Good luck in your studies.
