I move the brush in different directions as I paint to keep the excitement level up. Never paint like a house painter with boring strokes going in the same direction. I also vary the pressure on my brush sometimes going from brush pushed down on the paper to a light touch where I'm almost lifting the brush off the paper. Then there is over 30 years of experience and becoming very comfortable with the medium!David Lobenberghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17550343255310931339noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2851626699837326.post-54414651193751592792010-12-27T22:12:09.445-08:002010-12-27T22:12:09.445-08:00I absolutely love this style! I love that you dimmed down the sunlight on the soil too. I've recently discovered that adding a bit of ink to my watercolors gives me a bit sharper of a look and I like that! I cannot handle either medium even remotely as well as you do. I'm truly awed by these pieces and they exemplify why I love watercolors.Autumn Leaveshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04010044052621228719noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2851626699837326.post-27297212460057028392010-08-03T16:24:12.573-07:002010-08-03T16:24:12.573-07:00David, I love this type of paintings, they are won...David, I love this type of paintings, they are wonderful, the lines confusing between colours....Fantastic.

Big hug.

Enrique.lupushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16332513731622409024noreply@blogger.com
